904 / 904L Sheets & Plates

Grade 904L stainless steel is a non-stabilized austenitic stainless steel. It has low carbon content. Copper is added to improve its resistance to strong reducing acids, such as sulphuric, acetic and phosphoric acids.
It is consist of high amounts of molybdenum and nickel. It can survive temperatures up to 450°Celsius.

It gives good resistance to stress corrosion cracking and crevice corrosion. Grade 904L stainless steel is non-magnetic and provides superior form ability, toughness as well as weld ability.
